Hilong Ecuador HL-16 Team Sets New Drilling Record

The HL-16 team achieved great success as it set a new drilling record at Sacha block of Rio Napo,taking only 16.17 days to complete the work.This shows once again the Ecuador Project's continuous efforts in attaining new heights and setting examples in the local maket.

At 8:00pm on September 18th,the HL-16 team operation site was alight with laughter.Rio Napo operation manager Juan Carlos,alongside Schlumberger project supervisorJulian,hosted an evening get-together for the team to celebrate the accomplishment.

HL-16 spudded in at 10:00pm on August 15th,with a planned duration of 28 days.Drilling was safely and efficiently completed at 2:00pm on September 1st.Total project time was recorded at 16.17 days,12 days ahead of shedule.This marks a continuation of new drilling records at the Rio Napo Sacha block previously set by the team at the horizontal well SACHA317H of 42 days.
