Drawing on the international advanced MPD theory and technology, combined with the experience of MPD service in recent years, HILONG has further upgraded and improved the MPD system, focused on the choke valve research and development.

Hardware Advantage

(1)     Choke valve with servo motor driven, with advantage of shorter response time, higher precision pressure control,  more reliable signal anti-interference ability.

(2)     The MPD manifold is applicable to various scenarios, which integrated with mutual backup system: back pressure line, flow line, choke valve, mass flow meter, inlet and outlet for cementing. The design and construction greatly improve the MPD applicability and safety.

(3)     The layout of the MPD manifold fully considers the transportation between different countries, which can be put into the container, and the shipment will be more convenient; The filter sub is designed to prevent manifold from plugging.

(4)     The procurement and usage of domestic choke valve and Coriolis flow meter contribute to costs greatly reduced on equipment and accessories procurement , cost competitive advantage is obvious.

(5)     The RCD has more dynamic pressure which can apply to more operation cases.

Software Advantage

(1)     Hilong MPD software system can realize the rapid adjustment of choke valve, the setting of surface back pressure, the monitoring of operating data, the prediction of trend, the backtracking of historical data, the feedback of alarm information, the starting of statistical data and other functions.

(2)     The system can communicate with third-party systems through communication protocols such as WITS and Modbus, and visually display the acquired data and trace back the historical data.

(3)    HILONG MPD system has the abilities of more precision on calculation and control, and can achieve surface back pressure within ±10psi even under large displacement.

(4)     The calculation accuracy of the MPD control model is precise. In the process of MPD drilling operation, the bottom hole pressure calculated by HILONG control model is basically consistent with the PWD data (Pressure measurement while drilling).

(5)     It is safer to deploy with HILONG MPD control system, because of software encryption and authorization code system. Also, the system can be compatible with other equipment.
